With every square inch of their Somerset home either updated or renovated, Jason and Christene Morris felt they’d maxed out its resale value. They were ready to move on to something new, but with two kids entrenched in the neighbourhood, they didn’t want to go far afield. The new community of Belmont, south of 194th Avenue, was a logical choice for a new home.

“We liked the idea of the block party to introduce our two new communities — Pine Creek and Sirocco at Pine Creek — and to let everyone know that we are releasing the second phase of Belmont,” says Megan Starke, Anthem United’s marketing manager.

Join us Saturday, September 14th from noon-4PM at the West Macleod Block Party – Calgary’s largest community event. Spanning across three new communities by Anthem United and 10 builders, there are tons of activities and 34 showhomes available for you and your family to tour.

Start your day in Belmont, where you will be able to get to know the amenities in the area including Granary Road, Spruce Meadows and the Cavalry FC. While exploring the 18 showhomes in Belmont you can enjoy a face painter, candy, popcorn and chances to win a free movie gift card. Then hop on a shuttle and tour 16 more showhomes in our newest communities in the West Macleod area, Pine Creek and Sirocco at Pine Creek.

After you’re done exploring the growing area, come back to Belmont at 7PM for free snacks and games. Don’t forget your lawn chairs and blankets, because we have a movie in the park, starting at 8PM, to wrap up the day.

Getting to Belmont is easy. From Macleod Trail, turn west onto 194 Avenue and left at Belmont Street. Or, just follow the hot air balloon in the sky. Did we mention there will also be an opportunity to win a hot air balloon ride?
