Since our grand opening in 2018, Belmont has grown to become a vibrant, family-friendly neighbourhood and one of Southwest Calgary’s favourite new communities. Fun fact: over 3,000 residents now call our community home…for many good reasons!

Now’s the time to join the fun before we’re done. We’re in the final stages of development with just a few lots remaining. Before you hop, skip or jump into a showhome, we’re here to answer any final questions about the community you may have, then we’ll allow one of our award-winning homebuilders finish the conversation.

When Will Belmont be Fully Completed?

You heard it here first: we’re almost done. We’re expecting to be sold out in 2027, with many of our amenities already complete or racing past the finish line in the next year. So, you get all the bonuses of owning a brand-new home in a community with mostly complete amenities. Belmont offers the best of both worlds right now.

How Accessible is Belmont?

Very. Just a short drive away are Macleod Trail and Stoney Trail. Belmont is also bordered by Sheriff King, 194th Ave and 210th Ave, meaning you can hop onto a major thoroughfare within minutes to get where you need to go in the city, but you’re set back from the busy roads enough to avoid all the nearby chaos and noise. We’re also set to have a future LRT station providing even more convenient accessibility, but timelines are still unknown on the construction of this station.

When Will Remaining Amenities be Complete?

• So many play areas are ready to explore (read: we launched in 2018). Have you visited our famous Mounds of Fun playground yet? How about our letter park or baseball diamond?
• Our retail centres are coming in hot. Belmont Landing will follow in 2027, and is set to include a No Frills, Shoppers Drug Mart, childcare and much more.
• The Belmont Fieldhouse & Library is also on our radar, to be completed in mid-2027. The community hub will have a multi-sport turf field and a children’s library.

Belmont is quickly becoming one of Southwest Calgary’s most amenity-rich communities. From award-winning playgrounds for children of all ages to two upcoming commercial developments featuring childcare, grocery stores, gas stations and more…everything your family needs will be just steps away.

Adding to the excitement, The City of Calgary has officially broken ground on a future fieldhouse and public library right in our own community. Located near the intersection of 210th Ave and Creekside Blvd SW, the facility is set to open in 2027 and will serve as a vibrant hub for recreation, learning and community connection.

The Belmont Fieldhouse will span approximately 118,000 sf and include a multi-sport artificial turf field, spectator viewing areas, dressing rooms, washrooms and administrative offices. Adjacent to it, the 10,000 sf public library will offer a welcoming space with a dedicated children’s area, open seating, collections shelving, public meeting rooms and an outdoor learning zone.
