The City of Calgary has officially announced an update on the Belmont Fieldhouse and Library located in our own backyard. These new amenities will provide residents of our fast growing community year round opportunities to practice, play, train and compete. Construction is expected to start in the second quarter of 2025 and has a planned opening in 2027.

The fieldhouse and adjacent library will be located off 210th and will share outdoor field space with a future high school. Check out what other amenities Belmont has to offer here.

Fieldhouse
The fieldhouse is designed to be approximately 118,400 square feet. It will include a multi sport artificial turf field, viewing area and more.

Library
The library will be 10,000 square feet and the building will include meeting rooms, open seating areas and a children’s library, ideal for young families of this community. All Calgary Public Library card holders will have access to this amenity. Better yet, it is free to get a card; learn more about being a Calgary Library member here.
